Andrea Travis and Matt Schedler were married July 23, 2011, at Anchor Baptist Church in Lexington.
Parents of the bride are Roger and Alisa Travis of Shelbyville. The groom is the son of Jim and Debbie Schedler of New Brunswick, Canada.
Rev. Billy Betts officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father, Roger Travis.
Matron of Honor was Kara Mudd of Louisville, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Cara Brosten of Chicago, Ill., Ashley Probus of Louisville, Jennifer Gilbert of Shelbyville, Kristy Lady of Destin, Fla., Sara Pickens of Lexington, Kelly Gonda of Louisville, all friends of the bride; and Angela Schedler of Cincinnati, sister of the groom.
Best man was Ben Barwick of New York, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were Justin Mudd of Louisville, brother-in-law of the bride; and Todd Hibner and Russ Atchley, both of Cincinnati, friends of the groom.
Flower girl was Gabriella Maldonado of Lexington, friend of the bride.
Ring bearer was Grayson Mudd of Louisville, nephew of the bride.
Ushers were Thach Phan of Cincinnati, friend of the groom, and Travis Schneider of Louisville, cousin of the bride.
A reception was held at Keeneland in Lexington.
The couple went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, for their honeymoon and reside in Jeffersonville, Ind.
Andrea Schedler received a Bachelor of Arts degree in elementary education from the University of Kentucky and is pursuing her Master of Arts in school counseling at Eastern Kentucky University. She is a third-grade teacher in the Jefferson County Public Schools.
Matt Schedler received his bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Cincinnati and is a sales representative for Kraft Foods.
