Leslie Brown and Jonathan Pernell were married July 23, 2011, at First Baptist Church Shelbyville.
Parents of the bride are Jeff and Beth Brown of Shelbyville. The groom is the son of David and Shirley Moore of Simpsonville.
Wedding music was provided by Issaih Willis
Rev. Jim Brown officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The maid of honor was Kayla Carrey of Shelbyville, friend of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Morgan Burk of Shelbyville, Lauren Kelly of North Carolina, Faith Holthouser of Louisville and Scarlett Hibdon of Louisville, all friends of the bride; Jessica Brown of Shelbyville, sister-in-law of the bride; and Jessica Jones of Mississippi, cousin of the groom.
Best man was Rico O’Bannon of Louisville, friend of the groom.
Groomsmen were Tyler Whitehouse, Steven Hornung and Brandon Shader, all of Shelbyville; Rob Cerulo and Graham Boyd, both of Lexington; and Alec Zaremba of Louisville. All are friends of the groom.
Flower girl was Kaylee Bobby of Crestwood, niece of the bride.
Ring bearers were Max Deener of Louisville and Keaton Haller of Shelbyville, both friends of the bride.
Ushers were Thomas Smith and Stevie Smith, both of Simpsonville and brother of the groom; and Chris Brown of Shelbyville, brother of the bride.
A reception was held at the pavilion at Shelby County Fairgrounds.
The couple went to Jamaica for their honeymoon and will reside in Lexington.
