Webb, Thomas named all-state

Shelby County junior Jordan Webb and sophomore Madison Thomas have earned all-state girls’ golf honors.

Webb finished eighth and Thomas 10th in the point standings, which give points for finishes in regular-season invitationals as well as the region and state tournaments, compiled by the Kentucky Junior Golf Foundation.

Webb and Thomas each earned medalist honors in a pair of invitationals during the regular season. Webb was the low scorer in the Notre Dame and Bluegrass invites, and Thomas took home top honors in the Henry County and SCHS invitationals.
