Water advisory still in effect

Despite the rain that fell Tuesday, customers of Shelbyville Municipal Water and Sewer Commission are still under a water advisory, commission director Tom Doyle said.

"We'll stay in it for the foreseeable future," he said.

The advisory requires customers to forego watering landscape plants unless they have newly-placed sod. They can also water with a hose as long as they stand and hold the hose.
