Volleyball: SCHS wins twice

-A A +A
By Todd Martin

The Shelby County girls’ volleyball team swept through Scott County and Meade County to move to 13-4 on the season.

The girls hammered Scott County in the first game and then held on in the second for a 2-0 (25-14, 26-24) road victory last Thursday.

The girls then reversed that trend with a 2-0 victory at home against Meade County on Monday. The Lady Rockets held in the opening game, 25-23, and then ripped the visitors, 25-16, in the second.

The girls will host Woodford County on Thursday, looking to improve on the region’s best record at 13-4.
