The lunch crowd at the Bluegrass Country Depot in Clay Village enjoyed a visit by U.S. Representative Brett Guthrie (R-Bowling Green) on Tuesday, who dropped by the store on his way to file for re-election for a second term in Congress. “I came here during my campaign and met some really great people, and they’ve got good food and good people to eat with and have good conversation,” Guthrie said, glancing around at the crowded table. “Well, he is sure is a wonderful talker,” said Neal Raizor, as everyone laughed.
