Wright Elementary will host Trims and Whims this weekend, an annual arts and crafts sale, now in its 27th year.
The event will feature a hodgepodge of mostly Kentucky crafts, including beaded-jewelry, purses, aprons, belts, candles ornaments and more.
"They will be homemade items for the most part," said Lynda Tharp, an organizer of the event.
About 82 craft vendors will be showcased this year. Last year the event was so popular about 30 craft vendors were placed on a waiting list.
