The Collins volleyball team’s resurgent season came to an end Monday night.

Two-time-reigning champion North Oldham swept the Titans, 3-0, in the first round of the 8thRegion Tournament at Simon Kenton.

The 13th-ranked Mustangs dispatched Collins, 25-14, 25-14, 25-15, to end its fourth season, which saw a 7-victory improvement from 2012.

“It’s been a great year,” said Titans Coach Cary Clark, whose team finished his first year 18-10. “There’s no doubt our future is bright and better volleyball [is] to come at Collins.”
