The newly-sixth-ranked Collins boys’ soccer team slammed host Spencer County, 7-1, Tuesday night in Taylorsville to clinch the regular-season district title and the top seed in next month’s 30th District Tournament.
The Titans (7-0-1, 3-0) tallied five times in the first 17 minutes on their way to an easy victory. Their first goal came in the fifth minute, when Chris Shuck headed home Mark Lanham’s corner kick.
