Saturday was a good day for the Collins swim teams and Shelby County senior Collin Kessinger.
In the 11th annual Woodford County Invitational at Versailles, the Titans took third in the boys’ meet and sixth in the girls’ meet. Meanwhile Kessinger captured two events (the 200-yard individual medley and the 100 breaststroke) on her way to being named the outstanding female swimmer of the meet and helping the Rockets to a seventh-place finish in the girls’ competition (the Shelby boys took 10th).
