Titans fall at the finish

Host Nelson County hit three last-second shots – including one at the final buzzer – to beat the Collins girls’ basketball team Friday night.

Cierra Drake’s layup gave the host Cardinals a 43-41 victory over the Titans in their regular-season finale in Bardstown. 

It also offset another big performance by Collins senior forward Aaliyah Wells, who had 20 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals in a losing effort.
