The Collins football team finished with a flourish Friday night, outscoring
host North Oldham, 16-0, in the fourth quarter for a 36-20 victory in the de facto Class 4A, District 3 championship game.
“It was a big game for us, and our kids responded well,” Collins Coach Jerry Lucas said. “They understood the significance of this game and what it meant to us in taking a big step to the district championship and home-field advantage in the playoffs.”
