Time for a change

With the mess this country is in under a Republican president and the mess our ex-Republican governor left the state in, why would we want to turn the country over to more Republicans? President Bush led us into a war in Iraq, which has bled this country dry. Would we be in as bad of shape with the Wall Street meltdown if we had not spent all our money on an un-winnable war? In the last eight years I have watched my retirement fund melt down to less than half what it was when Bush took office. I know the rest of you are hurting also. Had Bush, Sen. Mitch McConnell and Sen. John McCain not pushed for deregulating the stock market and savings and loans, we wouldn't be in the mess we find ourselves today. Everything that has been deregulated has turned into a mess, including the air lines. Sen. McConnell and Sen. McCain would keep leading us down the wrong path. You have to vote for a change to get a change.

David Boswell, candidate for Kentucky's 2nd US Congressional District is far the most experienced and qualified of the two running for this office. He has been a long-time state senator from the Owensboro area and served as state agricultural commissioner making him more qualified to handle the farmer's problems. Bill Young was born and raised on a farm in Shelby County. He has been an educator and community activist and believes in "putting people first". We need to elect Bill Young for state representative from the 58th house district.
