A sea of white could be seen Wednesday and Thursday at the fairgrounds as thousands wearing construction helmets scurried about doing everything from building a stone wall to working on electrical displays.
But the work wasn’t for real, and the construction workers were a little shorter than usual.
More than 2,000 high school students from all over Kentucky were attending the sixth annual Construction Career Days 2010, put on by the Kentucky Construction Career Choice Council (K4C).
