A 14-year boy was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Saturday night after he was thrown from a bull at a rodeo in Waddy.
Shelby County EMS Director Todd Early said the boy, whom he said he thinks is from Clark County, hit his head when he was tossed off a bull in the Promise Ridge Rodeo.
The youth’s name is not being released because he is a juvenile. Early didn’t know his official condition, but rodeo organizers said he was doing well.
