Marilyn Tamer, library media specialist for Southside Elementary, introduces a group of children to an I-Pad. The school purchased 10 to be used in classroom settings. There are educational games that challenge students’ knowledge of math and reading. The mapping system also attracted their attention since they could type in their address and actually see their house.
