The TAG sixth- and seventh-grade leadership students at East and West middle schools are completing their Student Y Club service project by making “Little Dresses and Britches for Africa, Haiti and Japan.” The students chose this project after hearing of the devastation from the earthquake and tsunami in Japan that left many children without any clothes or belongings. The dresses are made from new or slightly used pillowcases and are decorated with ribbons and bows. The britches are made from new or slightly used T-shirts.
