Collins High School hosted two alcohol prevention programs sponsored by the Kentucky Crime Prevention Coalition and SCPS Student Assistance Program. All eighth-graders had an opportunity to participate in hands on student simulation, which uses altered-vision goggles to help students understand the dangers of riding with someone who is under the influence of alcohol. All seniors had a chance to participate in a fatal experience driving simulation), which also uses altered-vision goggles.
