The Shelby County District Spelling Bee is 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25. Competing in the event are students from Shelby County Public Schools and Our Lady of Guadalupe. School winners are:
-Sarah Downes from Guadalupe.
-Shannon Harover from East Middle.
-Chris Diekevers from West Middle.
-Brandon Hobbs from Clear Creek Elementary.
-Garrett Clark from Heritage Elementary.
-Sabrina Shaver from Painted Stone Elementary.
-Kyle Hillebrand from Simpsonville Elementary.
-Jay Solinger from Southside Elementary.
-Amy Dotson from Wright Elementary.
The bee takes place at the Shelby County Board of Education office, 1155 West Main Street.
