If one didn’t know better, he might think that the idea of Butler and Virginia Commonwealth playing each other in the Final Four this weekend was simply an April Fool’s Day joke, along the lines of Taco Bell claiming in 1996 that they had purchased the Liberty Bell and were renaming it “The Taco Liberty Bell,” or the full-page ad that Burger King placed in USA Today in 1998 announcing the introduction of a new item to their menu: a "Left-Handed Whopper."
