Several Shelby County Area Technology Center SkillsUSA members tested their technical skills against other high schools. The students competed in automotive technology, motor control, precision machining. and information technology. Wyatt Brookshier (sophomore) placed third in programming. Calvert Jesse (senior) competed in automotive. Noel Canales (senior) was part of the second place Web design team. Robert Cauble (junior) placed first in motor control. Tyler Chambers (sophomore) placed first in programming. William Day (junior) placed first in precision machining.
