Shelbyville Police Reports Sept. 9, 2009

Traffic-Related

Manuel Marcus, 36, of 23 Lees Court in Shelbyville was arrested Thursday on Midland Trail at Stone Crest and charged with no operator’s license, disregarding a traffic-control device, reckless driving, failure to maintain insurance.

Jose Elvis Vazquez, 30, of 457 Seven Mile Pike No. 2 in Shelbyville was arrested Saturday on Midland Boulevard and charged with no operator’s license and speeding.

 Drug-Related

James Anthony Watkins, 38, of 1428 and ½ Walnut St. in Shelbyville was arrested Sept. 2 on the 1300th block of Main Street and charged with trafficking in cocaine, reckless driving and fleeing and evading police.

Tammy M. Vest, 33, of 1428 and ½ Walnut St, in Shelbyville was arrested Sept. 2 on Plainview Drive.

Other

Donovan S. Kennedy, 20, of 89 Rose St. in Shelbyville was arrested Sept. 2 on 8th Street and charged with second-degree burglary and receiving stolen property under $10,000.

 Warrants

 James Anthony Watkins, 38, of 1428 and ½ Walnut St. in Shelbyville was served with a Jefferson County warrant for nonsupport and a Shelby County warrant for failure to appear in court.
