Shelbyville man arrested for incest

A Shelbyville man was arrested Friday, April 11, and charged with four counts of incest.

Roy I. Cissell, 54, of Shelbyville, was arrested by Kentucky State Police after being indicted by the Shelby County Grand Jury.

The arrest took place after a year-long investigation by KSP, according to KSP detective Kevin Calhoon, who said that the investigation is continuing and that more charges could be forthcoming.

Calhoon added that the victim, whose sex or age he could not reveal, was a juvenile at the time the offense occurred, "years ago," and is still a juvenile.
