Shelby products continue strong seasons

Shelbyville’s Antonita Slaughter scored six points to help the third-ranked University of Louisville women’s basketball team remain unbeaten at home with a 73-58 American Athletic Conference victory over Rutgers at the KFC Yum! Center on Sunday.

Slaughter, a 6-1 senior guard who graduated from Christian Academy of Louisville, hit 3 of 9 shots from the field and grabbed two rebounds in 22 minutes as Louisville improved to 17-0 at home this season.
