Shelby County Grand Jury Indictments July 13, 2012

Erastro Ramirez-Salas, 29, of unknown address in Shelbyville was indicted for theft of identity of another without consent and second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.

Brandy E. Rion, 32, of 106 3rd St. in Simpsonville was indicted for theft by deception under $10,000.

Gary E. Stoops Jr., 27, of 315 Cherrywood Drive was indicted for receiving stolen property under $10,000 and for second-degree burglary.

Bobby Stevenson, 31, of 81 Kent St. No. 7 was indicted for flagrant nonsupport.

Stephen R. Cottrell, 56, of 1340 Buck Creek Road in Simpsonville was indicted for first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Nathan A. Herdt, 25, of 1053 Winburn Drive No. 131 in Lexington was indicted for first-degree wanton endangerment, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants under aggravating circumstances, first offense, failure to maintain insurance, failure to notify the department of transportation of an address change, failure to produce an insurance card, and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle.

Brandon Westbrook, 27, of 1060 Lakeview Drive was indicted on 13 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud or deceit.
