One county road is scheduled to be repaved and three others will receive box culverts this summer, projects that have been needed for a while, officials say.
Shelby County Fiscal Court magistrates on Tuesday accepted a bid of $60.80 per ton from Louisville Paving for the resurfacing project for Mill Circle Road, located in a subdivision off Harrington Mill Road.
County Road Supervisor Carl Henry said he expects the $42,000 project, slated for mid-June, to take only one day, because the road is only three-quarters of a mile long.
