A dilapidated residence on Burks Branch Road soon will be torn down if no one steps up to take responsibility for repairing it, county officials say.
“It’s been in pretty bad shape for quite a while,” Shelby County Judge-Executive Rob Rothenburger said during Tuesday’s meeting of the Shelby County Fiscal Court. “We’ve done everything we can possibly do to try to notify the property owner or the mortgage company.”
