Scout remembers ‘the fallen’

Alan Harris is reaching his dream of attaining the rank of Eagle Scout by remembering those who fought for and “who gave their lives for our freedom.” Harris, a 2011 graduate of Shelby County High School, will host a memorial service, reception and flag retirement 7 p.m. June 17 at the Finchville Park. He extends an invitation to all veterans and active duty military personnel, along with their families.
