SCHS shooters take state title

The Shelby County High School Marine Corp JROTC rifle team took the top five spots in last weekend’s state championships and won the overall title.

Heather Kirby finished first as an individual, followed by Miguel Batz, Frank Hargadon, Sydney Perry and Christina Sanchez.

Also scoring were Jett Adams (15th), Michael Gilpatrick (17th) an Steven Waurio (21st).
