Titans’ boys fail at Madisonville

By Josh Cook

The Shelby County girls’ basketball team bounced back from one of its most lopsided losses of the season with its biggest victory of the season this past weekend.

The Rockets fell at Woodford County, 76-43 on Friday night but rebounded with a 52-24 victory over visiting Kentucky Country Day on Saturday evening.

WOODFORD COUNTY 76, SCHS 43:The host and hot-shooting Yellowjackets (11-5 after the victory) hit 11 3-pointers to sting the Rockets by 33 points (which matched the deficit of Shelby’s season-opening 51-18 loss to Collins).
