Corpus Christi Academy in Simpsonville received the results of the ACL/NJCL National Latin Exam. Paul Cozzens and Joseph Zoeller, both seventh-grade students at the academy, were among the top scorers nationally. Paul was awarded a Magna Cum Laude certificate, and James was awarded a Cum Laude certificate for their performance on the Latin I exam, a high school level exam. The National Latin Exam is administered in all 50 states and 12 foreign countries with more than 100,000 students participating. Its purpose is to promote the study of Latin and the classics.
