Here is a quick look at today's high school sports action in the county:

*The Collins & Shelby County swim teams continue competing in the Region 3 meet at Russell County.

*The Collins girls' basketball team (12-12), coming off Thursday night's loss to Gallatin County, will try to get back on track at 1 p.m. today when it hosts Bethlehem. The Banshees (6-12) have won two in a row since they lost seven straight.

*The Shelby County girls' basketball team (15-12), which has won two in a row, hosts Atherton (6-13) at 2:30 p.m. at Mike Casey Gymnasium. The Rebels, who started the season 3-11, have won three of their last five games.

*The Collins boys' basketball team (16-7) puts its five-game win streak on the line tonight, when it hosts Harrison County (16-10) at 7:30 p.m. in the Titans' Homecoming. The Thorobreds, who lost 70-61 at Mason County last night, are led by junior forward Dillon Pulliam (14.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg).
