With their third straight win, the Shelby County boys' basketball team appears to have ditched a mid-season slide that saw the team lose five of six in January.
The Rockets (16-6) picked up a 60-51 win at Simon Kenton (12-11) on Friday, proving the team can beat top competition on the road.
"That was a very good win against quality competition on the road," SCHS head coach Mike Clark said. "I was real pleased with the way the guys responded after a long bus ride and in a hostile environment."
