Rockets win key district game

The Shelby County girls’ basketball team picked up a big district victory but followed that up with a loss this past weekend.

The Rockets rallied to beat Spencer County, 39-32, Friday night in Taylorsville before falling to Washington County, 47-34, Saturday afternoon in the Autism Awareness Classic at Marion County.
