Rockets stifle Oldham County, win 53-31

On a night when the 1978 State Championship team was recognized, the Rockets had that old look.

Not only was the Shelby County boys' basketball team wearing throwback uniforms similar to those of the '78 squad, but they also had that look they had early in the season when they opened the year on a 10-game winning streak. The Rockets jumped out quickly and never looked back in a convincing 53-31 win over rival Oldham County Friday.

The win snapped a three-game losing streak for the Rockets (14-6), but it didn't catch head coach Mike Clark by surprise.
