The Shelby County boys' basketball team used a 21-2 run to start the second quarter to grab a big lead and then held on to top Anderson County 73-61 in the finals of the 30th District Tournament Saturday.
The Rockets outscored Anderson 27-9 in the second quarter, and pushed the lead to more than 20 points during the third quarter.
Tim Sanford led the Rockets wit 23 points and Coty Minnis added 15.
