Rockets lose, Cornerstone wins

Visiting North Oldham outscored the Shelby County boys’ basketball team, 23-5, in the third quarter on its way to a 61-38 8th Region victory Friday night at Mike Casey Gymnasium.

The Mustangs led, 12-6, at the end of the first quarter before the Rockets equaled North Oldham’s 15 points in the second to trail, 27-21, at halftime.

Then North Oldham (10-8) blew open the game until the Rockets outscored them, 12-11, in the fourth quarter.
