After the visiting North Hardin Trojans (2-1) scored the first 12 points of the game, it was all Shelby County in Friday’s home opener. The Rockets went on to outscore North Hardin by 32 points for a 42-18 win, Shelby’s first of the season. The Rockets (1-1) took the lead for good, 21-18, when quarterback Branden Cresap found Matt Page in the end zone for a 13-yard score. That score ended an eight minute drive that stared at the beginning of the second half on the Rockets’ own 15-yard line. And once Shelby got the lead, it was all Quinten Cottrell.
