The SCHS football team stayed with Manual through the first half, but couldn't stop the Crimsons in the second half.
Manual got on the board quickly in the first quarter. The Crimsons intercepted a Shelby County pass and returned it to the Shelby County five-yard line, punching it in on their first offensive play.
Manual scored again on the opening play of the second quarter, taking a 14-0 lead.
A 56-yard pass from Matt Page to Tavis Elzy helped get the Rockets on the board in the second quarter. The pass set up a 25-yard Matt Nakatani field goal.
Nakatani added a 35-yard field goal late in the second quarter, cutting Manual's lead to 14-6.
But the Crimsons took over in the third quarter, opening the game up with two touchdowns for a 28-6 lead. Manual added another score in the fourth to push the lead to 35-6.
The Rockets finally found the end zone late in the fourth when Quinten Cottrell raced in from six yards out, scoring his first varsity touchdown.
