Rockets ease into season

The SCHS boys’ cross country team took a slow approach to starting the season with the Clarksville (Ind.) High School Hokum Karem meet Tuesday.

The Rockets place fifth overall, but they were without the team’s top runner, Stacey Eden.

The meet had runners alternate each mile and racing against other pairs as well as other teams.

William Thompson and Travis Adams teamed together to lead the Rockets with a time of 32.55 and finished fourth out of 74 pairs.
