Rifle team targets national title

With textbook precision and dead-on accuracy, the Shelby County High School Marine Corps JROTC rifle team has recently won another state title and is well on their way to competing for their fourth national title in five years.

At the end of an undefeated conference season, the rifle team -- of Micah Augustine, Martin Tindle, Olivia Yeager and Joshua Rucker -- took first place in the state completion in Hopkinsville on Dec. 15.
