A reading group at West Middle School concentrated on the characters and plot of Tangerine about a boy named Paul and the obstacles he faces in comparison to other friends. Students like Cameron Bruner ( left) and Nick Stivers answered prompts about what had been read, discussing muck fires that burned all the time, how the school flooded when it rained, that lightning killed a boy, and a nice, clean house that was opposite to his own.
