In 30-some years of coaching American Legion baseball, Jim Wiley has rarely seen an about-face like he did in the past week.
Four days after his Shelbyville Post 37 squad mustered only three hits in an 8-1 loss at Somerset it pounded out a season-high 17 hits in a 13-0 rout of host Rockport, Ind. on Sunday.
“One of the biggest turnarounds I’ve had a chance to see in some time,” Wiley said.

Four Post 38 pitchers combined to hold Post 37 to one run on a trio of singles.
