Police seek help in solving burglaries and car break-ins

The Shelbyville Police Department are asking for assistance in solving several theft-related crimes.

Two are burglaries.

The police reported that two different burglaries took place on the same street on the same night:  Dec. 22 on the 900 block of 9th Street.

The first occurred between 12:30 and 8 a.m., when someone entered a residence by removing a screen from a ground floor window and climbing in, Shelbyville Police Officer Istvan Kovacs said.
