Santa in a sleigh. A chimney. A Christmas tree and a chimney. Merry Christmas 2007.

On a recent Saturday, about 25 children and a few adults turned plain glass balls into personalized Christmas ornaments.

Noah Cocking dipped his brush into an off-white patch of paint to make Santa in his sleigh. Andrea Ketcham and Krysta Ethington had more brown and red tones on their ornaments, the better to make a chimney for Santa. Elaine Langley created a "Merry Christmas 2007" ornament for the family tree.
