Once again, Lady Rockets favored in 30th District

The Lady Rockets have one goal in mind right now: winning the 30th District Tournament.

After whipping Eminence 64-9 at Spencer County in Monday's opener, the Lady Rockets are just one win away, but they don't know who they'll play just yet.

Anderson (21-7) and Spencer (13-11) counties face off tonight in the other first-round game and the winner will play Shelby County Friday at 7 p.m.

"I expect Anderson County to win, but Spencer County is a better team now than they were earlier in the season," SCHS head coach Sally Zimmerman said.
