Tuesday – Shelby County parent training groups give practical and helpful advice to help strengthen parents. Opportunity to meet other parents and caregivers who want the best for their children! Free childcare for all ages. Free dinner and door prizes, all families are welcome. Location: The Dorman Center, 719 Burks Branch Road (next to FAC) 6-7:30 p.m. Budgeting/couponing – Get ready for the holidays. Oct. 3 – Fall picture day is for all students and staff

Oct. 13 – Pumpkin carving contest, 6:30 to 8 p.m. in West Middle’s cafeteria for a night of scary pumpkins and lots of fun. All students have to do is bring their family and a pumpkin or two. There will be free pizza and drinks and supplies. Families will be carving pumpkins and there will be a contest with prizes in the end. The whole family is invited.

Oct. 27 – Latino potluck and information night, 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the West Middle cafeteria. Potluck dinner and a PowerPoint Students are asked to bring a dish and come with their family.

 

Collins High School
