No one was injured in either of two structure fires that broke out Saturday and Monday in Shelbyville, fire officials said.
Assistant Shelbyville Fire Chief Chris Spaulding said on Saturday night at 6:30 he received notification of a fire at 106 Ada Ave. at the residence of Lori Jackson.
“When crews arrived on scene, they found heavy black smoke pouring out from the eaves of the house,” he said.
Spaulding said everyone was out of the house except for a dog that firefighters successfully rescued.
