No children were injured in a collision Friday morning between a car and a school bus.
Shelbyville Police said the accident happened at 7 a.m. when a car rear-ended a school bus on Old Mill Road near the intersection of Old Finchville Road.
Police said the driver was stopping behind Bus 2930, which was stopped to let children on the bus, when the driver's foot slipped off the brake.
Shelby County Assistant Emergency Medical Director Jeff Ivers, who was at the scene, said crews were called out to check children out, but none were transported to the hospital.
The bus continued with its route.
