No gun involved in domestic disturbance

-A A +A
By Lisa King

A domestic disturbance that occurred on Friday did not involve a gun, police say.

Shelbyville Police officer and spokesperson Kelly Cable said that no weapons were involved in a loud verbal argument in Brittany Estates.

Neighbors had speculated about why such a large number of police units from different agencies had responded to the scene – more than a half dozen – and Cable suggested that was because someone may have heard a gunshot about that time, associated it with the disturbance and relayed that information to 911 dispatchers, he said.
